CRIS Golf Program
Chiang Rai International School (Golf Program) has access to state-of-the-art and cutting-edge facilities, including a 27-championship-hole golf course, a nine-hole PGA golf course, three short game par-3 courses, a driving range, golf coaches, and a fitness center to develop the skills of prospective CRIS (Golf Program) athletes. We deliver high-quality golf training sessions and educational workshops to meet the needs of our CRIS golf students.

We like to share that our curriculum is carefully designed to balance golf training and academic studies based on the individual needs of each student. The percentage split between these two components depends on the student’s grade level and their specific goals.

CRIS Pro-Golf Development Program
At Chiang Rai International School (Golf Program), we are excited to share that we are building a robust golf program to support our student-athletes. While we are actively looking for partnerships to enhance this initiative further, we currently have a dedicated and growing golf team that includes:
1. Head Golf Coach
Oversees the overall development of students’ golfing skills, focusing on strategy, competitive play, and performance.
2. Full Swing Coach
Specializes in refining students’ full swing techniques, ensuring proper form, power, and consistency.
3. Short Game Coach
Focuses on improving students’ short game skills, including pitching, chipping, and bunker shots.
4. Putting Coach
Provides targeted training to enhance putting accuracy, speed control, and green-reading abilities.
5. Fitness Trainer
Specializes in building the physical strength, endurance, and flexibility required for optimal golfing performance.
6. Mental Strategies Coach
Works with students on psychological aspects, including focus, confidence, and handling competition pressures.

Evaluation Criteria
1. Golf Skill Leve
Students will be assessed on their golf abilities, including technical skills, tournament experience, and potential for improvement.
2. Scoring Average
Applicants should provide their scoring averages from recent tournaments or competitions as a key indicator of their golfing ability.
3. Academic Performance
While golf is the primary focus, we value well-rounded student-athletes who maintain strong academic standing.
4. Commitment and Character
We look for students who demonstrate dedication, discipline, and a positive attitude both on and off the course.
